Professor of Statistics
I am a statistician.
Much of my research is about measuring and describing how variables depend on each other, especially when the usual assumptions of linearity and normality don’t quite hold. These days I work mainly on statistical theory, modelling, and applied projects, and on turning the methods into software that other people can actually use.
I also care a great deal about teaching. At NHH I teach statistics, data science, and programming at all levels, from introductory courses in the Bachelor programs to advanced theory to PhD students.
